Subscription Update Obituary

     Michael P. Sawicki, 59, of Goffstown, NH died Friday, May 20th in Boston Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Paula A. (Richard) Sawicki; a daughter, Stephanie T. Sawicki and her fiancée, Kurtis Hults of Machester, NH; a son, Patrick M. Sawicki and his fiancé, Emily Boone of Goffstown, NH; his father, William S. and his wife, Judy (Mycock) Sawicki of Leicester; four brothers, Kevin Sawicki of Stockbridge, GA, Francis Sawicki of Shrewsbury, Russell Sawicki of West Cornwall, CT and Stephen Sawicki of Leicester; two sisters, Kathleen Raymond of Putnam, CT and Darlene Cray of Sanbornton, NH; two grandchildren, Maxwell and Dionna and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne and three sisters, Mary, Cindy and Michelle.

He was born in Worcester the son of Elizabeth “Betty” (Brown) Sawicki. Michael was the production scheduler at General Cable for 35 years. He enjoyed sports, music and was a car enthusiast. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandson.

His funeral is Wednesday, May 25th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, MA with a funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 24th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
