Subscription Update Obituary

     Maude E.”Stella” (Rich) Steutermann, 74, formerly of Worcester, died at home, under the care of her loving family, on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born in Brownville Junction, ME, the daughter of Harold D. and Kathleen G. (Stineford) Rich. Maude moved to Worcester in 1980 where she lived until moving to Rutland in 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard A. Steutermann of Rutland; four sons, Christopher Henderson, Albert “Larry” Henderson, Jr. and his wife, Laurie, Mark Henderson and Paul Henderson; three daughters, Leah Crandall and her husband, Burc Oral, Alana Henderson, and Holly McDonald and her husband, Robert; her sister, Edrie Anderson; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by three brothers; Edston Anderson, Robert and Harold Rich, Jr.

Maude worked for the former Aurolite Co. of Worcester for over 13 years and later worked for Memorial Hospital in Worcester in Housekeeping. She retired in 2005. Although she had a love for music, traveling, dancing and reading, Stella’s greatest joy was caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MetroWest Home Care & Hospice, 200 Nickerson Road, Marlborough, MA 01752.
