Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Beth Desrosiers, 62, of Worcester died peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a long illness.

Mary Beth is survived by her mother, Marie V. (Kelly) Desrosiers of Worcester; a brother, Michael Desrosiers and his wife, Linda of Worcester; two sisters, Mary Ann Sergeant of Merrimack, MA and Kathleen LaPorte and her husband, Steven of Milford, MA; two nieces, Kara Sergeant and Nichole Desrosiers and a nephew, Will Sergeant.

Mary Beth was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father Paul G. Desrosiers. She graduated from South High School and worked 29 years as a pastry chef for the Worcester Club.

Beth was known for her quiet humor, kindness and compassionate spirit. She had a passion and natural talent for gardening and nurturing all varieties of plants. When Beth wasn’t outside in her garden you would find her inside tending to one of her many exotic plants. Beth’s talents also extended to baking. Her exceptional chocolate chip cookies and pecan rolls were a long-standing treat at holiday gatherings. She had a special place in her heart for rescue animals and adopted several throughout her life, most recently her dog, Sara, and cat Snowball.

Private funeral services are being held in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, with burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary Beth may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street Worcester, MA 01606.
