Marion E. (George) Khoury, 98, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2016 at Beaumont Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She leaves her devoted son, Francis P. Khoury and his wife, Lana of Auburn; two grandchildren, Stephen Khoury and his wife, Lisa of Sutton and Lynne Swanbeck and her husband, Kurt of Maine, four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Tobias Swanbeck and Shelby Khoury. Two brothers, Paul and Joseph George and a sister, Lillian Russell predeceased her. She was born in Worcester on October 5, 1917 a daughter of the late Patrick and Angelina (Adams) George. Marion attended local schools and worked for many years as a secretary at her families business, the former Adam and George Company.

Marion was a parishioner at Sacred Heart of Jesus – St. Catherine’s of Sweden. Her family was of the utmost importance to her. It was the center of her life. She was a person without pretense and loved her family unconditionally. The smiling faces of her family and those around her brought her happiness. She was a lover of fashion and jewelry and will be deeply missed by all whom had the pleasure to have known her. Nana, we love you and thank for giving us your heart.

Marion’s family would like to thank the first floor staff at the Beaumont Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice for the gentle care and sincere compassion shown to her during her stay there.

A private Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart-St. Catherine’s of Sweden Church and burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park. Service were under the direction of the CALLAHAN-FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
