Subscription Update Obituary
     Marie C. (Gagne) Winsky, 85, died Thursday, February 9 at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 55 years, John J. Winsky died in 2009.

She leaves 4 sons, David J. & his wife Karin Winsky of Oxford, Michael J. and his wife Melissa Winsky of Charlton, John M. and his wife Tammy Winsky of Oxford and James C. Winsky and his companion Julie O’Connor of Oxford; 6 grandchildren, Rhaya, Bryce, Brittany, John, Jake and Christine; 2 brothers, Leon Gagne of Placentia, CA and Camille Gagne of Southington, CT; 2 sisters, Verna Caron of Bristol, CT and Stella Levesque of Plainville, CT.

She was born and raised in Fort Kent, Maine one of 12 children of Henry and Hattie (Boisine) Gagne. She lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford.

Mrs. Winsky and her husband owned and operated Winsky Farm since 1954. She was very active in the day to day working of the farm. She was also a devoted mother and wife.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed spending many hours in her flower garden and making crafts. She loved all animals. Her greatest pleasure came from time spent with her grandchildren.

The memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, February 18 in Saint Joseph Basilica with a Mass at 10:00 A.M.(Please meet at church.) Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Donations in her name may be made to Central Mass Hospice, 191 Pakachoag Street, Auburn, MA 01501. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
