Marian K. (Hutchinson) Erickson passed away March 8th at CareOne Millbury from complications after a tragic fall.

Marian was the only child born to Edwin and Helga Hutchinson, grew up in Worcester, graduated from the former Commerce High School and a charter member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Marian was a stay at home mother until her children entered high school and then she began her career at Millbury National Bank.Marian proudly celebrated her Swedish heritage, loved gardening and adored taking care of her grandchildren.

Marian leaves behind her beloved husband of 63 years, Vernon “Sonny” Erickson of Millbury.  Additionally, she leaves behind her two children who will miss her dearly:  her daughter Robin Peretzian and her husband Thomas of Northborough and her son Steven Erickson of Millbury.

“Gram” will be greatly missed by her five loving grandchildren who brought her so much joy:  Kory Erickson and his partner Rachael Osborn of Millbury, Zachary Erickson and his partner Alex Maslen of Charlton, Ryan Erickson and his partner Megan Chesanek of Oxford, TJ Peretzian and his fiancée Shannon Boyle of Auburn and Alexa Peretzian of Northborough.  Marian was also anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild due in July.

Please honor Marian’s life by offering a random act of kindness to others.  There are no calling hours.  Her services and burial will be conducted privately.
