Subscription Update Obituary

Margaret E. (Anderson) O’Connor, 93 of Worcester, died January 10th with loving family at her side in Advinia Care in Northbridge. Her husband of 42 years, Paul F. O’Connor died in 1994. She is survived by her three sons, Paul F. O’Connor and his wife, Barbara of Sutton, Ronald J. O’Connor and his wife Anne of North Dighton, and Peter G. O’Connor and his wife, Christine Maruk of Rutland; her four grandchildren, Meaghan, Jill, Delia and Kaitlyn and two great grandchildren, Brecken and Jameson Hollow; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Arthur, Franklin, Roy and Robert Anderson and her sister, Dorothy Lukko.

Margaret was born in Worcester, the daughter of Waldemar A. and Dora (Castle) and had at one time worked as a telephone operator and later as a school crossing guard. She was a member of Christ the King Parish and was a longtime supporter of Easter Seals. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, birdwatching and the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Advinia Healthcare, 85 Beaumont Drive, Northbridge, MA 01534 include the following in the memo section of the check: Activities/musical Enrichment Fund.
