Subscription Update Obituary

     Marc Joseph Houle, 45, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 28, 2021. He is survived by his father, Wilfred R. Houle of Clarksburg, WV; three brothers, Brian K. Houle and his wife Julie of Templeton, Tyson J. Loftus of Douglas, and John M. Loftus Jr. and his fiancée Nikki Roy of Barre; his sister, Kim M. Bond and her husband James of Charlton; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his stepfather, John M. “Jack” Loftus who died in 2016; and his stepmother, Faith Houle who died in 2020. He was born in Southbridge, son of the late Lorraine A. (Nolet) Loftus.

Mr. Houle worked in construction throughout his life. He enjoyed working out at the gym, spending time by the water, and fishing. He will be remembered as a quiet man who loved his family.

Memorial calling hours are Friday, April 9, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Webster-Dudley, 55 Oxford Ave., Dudley, MA 01571.
