Subscription Update Obituary

     Malcolm V. Coleman, 78, passed away on June 6, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

His wife of 50 years, Beautrice E. (French) Coleman passed away in 2008.

Malcolm was born in Worcester a son of the late Howard W. and Mary C. (Rousseau) Coleman. He was raised in Worcester and attended local schools where he graduated from Commerce High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1960 until 1966. He began work at Atlantic Aviation before working for the Worcester Airport where he retired after 30 years. He then worked for the WRTA as a driver for over 15 years. Following his retirement from the WRTA, he worked for North End Motor Sales.

Mr. Coleman enjoyed trips with the Rockwood Yankees, a camping club he belonged to, building and flying model airplanes. He was an active parishioner at St. Christopher Parish.

He leaves behind his four children, Gary V. Coleman and his wife Jill of Holden; Cheryl DiBenedetto and her husband William Jr., of Auburn; Christine Gleason and her husband John of West Boylston; Bien Nguyen of Boston; two brothers, Howard W. Coleman, Jr., of Paxton and Gene K. Coleman of Arizona; his sister, Carole J. Boilard of Worcester; ten grandchildren, Brett, Felisha, Dakota, Bailey, Matthew, T.J., C.J., Maddison, Kameron and Jenna; close friends, Bob Ducharme, Lap and Rose Nguyen and all of his friends from Craig’s Campground in Arcadia, Florida.

He is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth L. Coleman.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 8th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 WEST BOYLSTON ST., WEST BOYLSTON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th at 10:00am at St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Worester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Giselle and Mariam of VNA Care Hospice for their exceptional care and support.
