Subscription Update Obituary

      Lillian (Bison) Glockner, 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her beloved husband of 50 years Albert Glockner. Lill and Al had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary three days before she passed. She also leaves behind 2 daughters- Sue and her husband John of Bellingham, MA; Danielle Glockner of Merrimack, NH; a son Jason Glockner of Merrimack, NH; 5 grandchildren- Andrew Glockner and his partner Andrew Lester, Lillian, Molly, and Tyler Garten, and Victoria Bartow; niece Karen Lemery; nephew Steve Macomber; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Lillian was born in Framingham, daughter of Henry and Lillian (Whalen) Bison. She graduated from Holliston High School. She then went on to work as an Administrative Assistant for over 30 years at Data General, EMC and Network Appliance. Lillian enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and consignment shopping. She loved all animals and had a special place in her heart for her two dogs Bella and Maggie. She especially loved to spoil her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them at their many sporting events. She also loved her yearly trips to Rockport, MA with her family.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10am at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to Kitty Angels, P.O. Box 638 Tyngsboro, MA 01879.
