Subscription Update Obituary

Levester Lee Burrell passed away peacefully on November 17,  2023.

He was Born on December 20, 1971 in Sunflower, Mississippi and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is survived by his mother Rose Gaines (Dirus  Gaines) and his father Eugene Wheeler. He worked as a foreman with the Local 7 Iron Workers Union for many years. He was a wise and generous man who cherished time spent with his family, especially going to his son’s sporting events. Everyone around him was blessed with his style and grace.

He leaves behind his significant other of 20 years, Heather Sturtze, 2 Daughters Taneia Burrell, Tiana Sturtze and 1 son Lhee Sturtze-Burrell along with 3 Grandchildren, Jaibrielle  Maner, Jariyah Maner and Zayden White. He leaves behind his siblings Dwayne Burrell (Colleen Burrell), Jennifer Gaines and Cassandra Gaines (Ekow Ofei) along with many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Mary and Henry Burrell, his brother Michael J Burrell and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, Nov. 29th at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A visiting hour will precede beginning at 10am. Burial will conclude at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
