Subscription Update Obituary

     Kim L. Anderson, 65, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital.

He is survived by a son, Ryan M. Anderson of Everett; his mother Muriel E. (Carlos) Anderson of Worcester; three sisters, Barbara C. Harris, Gayle E. Anderson, and Janice L. Anderson, all of Worcester; three brothers, Alan C. Anderson of Rochester, NY, and Robert R. Anderson of Leicester, Curtis W. Anderson, Jr. of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Curtis W. Anderson, Sr., a brother, Charles F. Carlos, two sisters, Diana G. Jones, and Allyson Anderson. Kim was born and raised in Worcester, and has lived here all his life.

He was educated in the Worcester Public School system and was drafted into the United States Army, while still in high school, receiving his GED while in the military. Kim loved playing sports; playing for All Saints church Basket Ball League, the Quinsigamond Lodge of Elks Softball Team, where he earned the nickname “the Boomer”, He later played in the City Parks Football League, for “The Brotherhood”.

He worked for the City of Worcester, Department of Public Works, Amorello and Sons Construction, and Universal Metals.

Kim will be greatly missed by his loving son, family and friends. He has touched so many people in his life time and he leaves many special friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 11:30 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, all are welcome. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at the Tatnuck Post number 288, 570 Mill Street, Worcester.
