Subscription Update Obituary

Kathleen E. (Sullivan) Lynch, 68, formerly of Holden and North Oxford died Wednesday, December 21 at her daughter’s home.

She leaves her husband of 47 years, Robert F. Lynch; two children, Brian F. Lynch and his wife, Sabrina and Tara E. Lynch all of Auburn; three grandchildren, Matthew and Gavin Lynch and Murphy Mero; four brothers, Paul Sullivan and his wife, MaryAnn of Princeton, John Sullivan and his wife, Joanne of Brewster, Joseph Sullivan and his wife, Lisa of Sterling and William Sullivan and his wife, Linda of Biddeford, ME; a sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Stephen Rossetti of Salisbury and nieces and nephews. A son, Matthew R. Lynch died in 2008. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Paul and Mary (Murphy) Sullivan and graduated Burncoat High School, and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree both from Worcester State College.

Kathleen was a school teacher for the City of Worcester School Department for many years, working the majority of her career at Chandler Street School. She had a great love of spending time at the beach, especially summers at her home in Biddeford and she enjoyed every moment with her grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 27 at 11am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St. Burial will private in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association. Arrangements in the care of Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home.
