Katherine E. Kane, 74, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, July 17th at Wingate of Worcester surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her son, Paul J. Kane and his wife Rachel of Webster; and a grandson, Jeremy Brule of Webster.

She was born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Gordon and Mildred (Noonan) Kane and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. She was a nurse’s aide at Worcester State Hospital for many years. A woman of great faith, Katherine was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She was devoted to her family and friends and she will be missed. Anyone who knew her would agree that she made the best chocolate chip cookies.

Katherine’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Wingate of Worcester for the excellent and compassionate care they provided.

Her funeral is Saturday, July 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street.
