It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our Karla.

Karla was born in Lancaster, CA on February 17, 1987, to Mark and Mary Ludvigson.  She passed away, unexpectedly, on June 1, 2023.

Karla attended Clarence Ruth Elementary School, and Lompoc Valley Middle School, and graduated from Lompoc High School in 2005. She also took classes at Lompoc Adult Education, Allan Hancock College, and Brooks Institute of Photography. She worked in the office at LUSD Summer School Programs, at Petco grooming dogs, Vandenberg AFB BX, and Chumash Indian Casino.

Karla loved photography, playing her bass guitar, and listening to music. She especially loved spending time hanging out with her friends.

It was a joy watching Karla grow up. She was funny, challenging, and caring, almost to a fault. She took care of others before taking care of herself.

Karla is survived by her parents of Fort Mohave, AZ, Grandfather Ronald Brown of Mesquite, NV, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Utah. She also leaves behind many friends from Lompoc. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorraine Brown from Las Vegas NV, Grandparents Ralph and Helen Ludvigson from Millbury MA, and uncles Michael Bourque from Spencer, MA, Joseph Bourque from Litchfield, NH, and Scott Brown from Las Vegas, NV.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Lompoc, CA, and in Spencer, MA. Her final resting place will be at the Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA.

We ended every day by saying: Good Nite, Sweet Dreams, We Love You!
