June Elaine (Nelson) Lundell, 93, a former Holden resident, died peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Worcester.  She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William G. and Ellen K. (Ullstrom) Nelson.

June graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester.  During WWII she worked in the Payroll department at Norton Co. in Worcester.  It was during this time she met the love of her life, Warren S. June was predeceased by her husband, Warren S. Lundell in 2002.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Glenn W. Lundell and his wife, Betsy of Harwich; her daughter, Patricia Donohue and her husband, Thomas of Spencer; her sister, Louise K. Fietz of Harwich; grandchildren, Kristina Tokalti and her husband, Paul of North Brookfield, Kelley Donohue of Spencer, Jennifer Lundell of Dennis Port and Jessica Lundell of West Dennis; great grandchildren, Marcus Powell, Jr. of Spencer, Elaina and Sophia Tokalti of North Brookfield; as well as several nieces and nephews.

June’s family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to Notre Dame Hospice Nurses, Kate and Colleen as well as the staff at St. Francis Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and compassion while caring for June.
