Judith E. (Courtney) Griffin, 73, passed away Thursday, February 9 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of John Ryder Courtney and Beatrice K. (Janusauskas) Courtney. She grew up in the Lincoln Street neighborhood and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. Judith met her husband, Thomas P. Griffin at the age of 14, who was truly the love of her life. They were married for 50 years and he sadly passed away on October 26, 2021.

Judy worked for many years at Fallon Healthcare.  She loved working around her house, following local politics and advocating for safety on the streets in her neighborhood. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She had a special talent for always finding just that special something for those she loved.  She spent many hours crafting and loved to make reusable bags for family and friends. Recently she enjoyed attending meetings with her new friends at the bereavement group at Our Lady of Loreto Church.
