Subscription Update Obituary

     Joyce M. (Paquin) Odorski, 75, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Worcester Rehabilitation Center.

Joyce is survived by four sisters, Janet Lincoln of New York, Beverly Neveau of New Salem, Diane Black of North Carolina, and Raylene Stuart of Swansea, NH; three brothers, Russell Paquin of Maine, Roger Paquin of Auburn, and Richard Paquin of Maine; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Ernest Paquin, Jr., Ronald Paquin, Nancy Raymond, and Donna Paquin. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Ernest W. and Eldora (Nordstrom) Paquin, and has lived here all her life.

Joyce retired from the housekeeping department and UMass-Memorial Hospital; having previously worked as a mail handler at the United States Postal Distribution Center in Shrewsbury; and as a quality inspector for Digital Equipment Corporation in Marlborough. She enjoyed, crocheting, “The Wonder of It All”, and loved Elvis.

Calling Hours for Joyce will be on Friday morning, January 6, from 10 a.m. until her Funeral Service begins at 11 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
