Subscription Update Obituary

     Jeanne M. (Muir) DelSignore, 87, of Dover, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Riverside Rest Home.

Her husband of 54 years, Louis G. DelSignore, died in 2006. She leaves five sons, Paul and his wife Diane DelSignore of Nebraska, John DelSignore of New Hampshire, George DelSignore of Vermont, Louis DelSignore of Louisiana, and Michael DelSignore and his wife Emily of Louisiana; three daughters, Anne DelSignore of New Hampshire, Dr. Jeanne DelSignore of New York, and Elaine and her husband Mark Granoff of New Hampshire; eleven grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by a brother and her son-in-law, Dr. Ned Ballatori. She was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of Harvey and Viola (Basinet) Muir and lived there much of her life until moving to Dover 25 years ago. She graduated from Clark University in Worcester and received a Masters in Education from Worcester State College.

Jeanne was an elementary school teacher in Massachusetts and New Hampshire school systems for many years. She was known as a kind, caring, and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 10, from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, MA with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours are Friday, October 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
