Subscription Update Obituary

   Jeanette C. (Miller) Josti, 84, died peacefully Monday, June 23rd at Shrewsbury Crossings in Shrewsbury after a long illness.

   Jeanette is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter F. Josti; her beloved children: Mary E. Caramiello and her husband, Joseph of Auburn, Walter J. Josti and his wife, Linda of Shrewsbury, Timothy J. Josti, Sr. and his wife, Jean of Spencer and Daniel F. Josti and his wife, Linda of Standish, ME. She also leaves her six grandchildren of whom she was so proud: Michael J. Josti and his wife, Christine of Norwell, Timothy J. Josti, Jr. and his wife, Tamara of East Brookfield, Robert J. Josti and his wife, S. Paige of Auburn, Heather A Josti of Coronado, CA and Brandon J. and Justin M. Caramiello of Auburn. She also leaves six great-grandchildren who brought her joy, laughter and unending stories to tell: Troy, Hope, Isaac, Cody, Elliot Rose and Logan. She also leaves a brother, John Miller and his wife, Barbara of Worcester and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Her brother, Leo Miller predeceased her.

   Jeanette was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Melvina (Brunelle) Miller and attended Worcester Public Schools. She belonged to the Worcester Horticultural Association and won many awards for her flower arrangements and table designs at Worcester Flower Shows. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and the outdoors, particularly camping, fishing, hiking and swimming with her family. She was an accomplished seamstress, making many clothes and sewing hundreds of badges and patches on to Boy Scout uniforms. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

   The family is grateful for the loving care given to Jeanette by her caregiver, Vetalin Farrweather, during her final days, to the staff of Shrewsbury Crossings for its unceasing attention to her needs and to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, Spencer for its daily prayers for the past five years.

   Jeanette's funeral will be Thursday, June 26 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard's Church, 228 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 25th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605 or to The Boys Scouts of America, 19 Harvard St., Worcester, MA 01609.
