Subscription Update Obituary

     Janice V. (Nofi) LeBonte, 72 of Webster, passed away peacefully Monday, April 10th 2017 with her devoted siblings by her side.  Janice joins in heaven her husband Edward who passed away in 1987 and son, Kenneth who passed away in 1980.

Janice is survived by her eight siblings, Thomas Mirabella, John Ross and his wife Susan, Sharon Legasey and her husband Thomas, Stephen Ross, Cynthia Shea and her husband Frederic, James Ross and his wife Mary, Daniel Ross, Christine Flagg and her husband Earl; Three generations of nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.   Besides her husband and son, Janice’s brother Phil Nofi , sister Kathleen Hall and sister in law, Cecelia Mirabella also pre deceased her.  Janice was born July 27, 1944 in Albany New York, and raised in Worcester by her mother, Virginia (Parker) Ross and stepfather, James Ross.  She worked for Brown Shoe, Hammond Shoe and several nursing homes.  Janice lived in Worcester most of life and recently resided in Webster.

Janice was an avid cook, loved to bake and decorate cakes and attend family special occasions and holidays.  She was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Wednesday, April 12th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. follow by her funeral service at 7:00 pm.  She will then be reunited in burial with her husband, son, sister, and parents privately in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
