Janet M. (Bleau) Daviau, 79, of Uncatena Avenue formerly of Leicester died Monday, November 22, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family after an illness.

Janet was born in Rochdale, daughter of Roland and Cecile (Roberts) Bleau. She leaves her husband of 61 years, Roy A. Daviau; two daughters, Renee M. (Daviau) Lorditch and her husband Matthew of Charlton and Sherry L. (Daviau) Champlin and her husband Jeremy of Worcester; four grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Zachary & Dylan Lorditch; five great grandchildren, Leah, Ally, Maddox and Benjamin Lorditch, and Peyton Albert; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Sam. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother John Morrissey and two sisters, Rita Holbrook and Helen Ruel.

In her younger years she was a hairdresser for Pauline Roach Salon in Leicester, and later began working as a chiropractic assistant in Worcester. Both she and her husband became so passionate about chiropractic care, that they decided to embark on a whole new career. They sold their house in Leicester, and moved to Spartanburg, SC where Roy began attending chiropractic college. After graduating, they moved to Muskegon, MI where they set up practice. Upon returning to MA, they lived in Shrewsbury where she worked for many years as a saleswomen for RG Shakour Beauty Supply Co. in Westborough until retiring.

She was a woman of strong faith and read her bible daily. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made many afghans and hats for her family and friends over the years. Jan was a very private person who enjoyed her own backyard, feeding the birds and rabbits daily. She had an extensive collection of angels which gave her great comfort and joy. She was an accomplished guitar and keyboard player and loved having family jam sessions. She enjoyed shopping, a hot cup of tea and a nice cold beer.
