Subscription Update Obituary

Janet L. (Denham) Ozak, 79, died Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her beloved husband of 44 years, John S. Ozak, died in 2021.

She leaves 4 brothers, John Denham, Albert Denham, Francis “Butch” Denham and Gary Denham, all of Webster; 3 sisters, Barbara Burns and Ellen Stinchfield, both of Webster, and Arlene Denham of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Fred Denham, Jr., Ronald Denham, Richard Denham and by her sister Jean Watson.

She was born in Worcester on November 2, 1942, a daughter of Frederick Denham, Sr. and Helen (Gagnon) Denham. She lived in Worcester for 10 years and then moved to Oxford where she graduated from Oxford High School in 1962. She lived in Webster for many years.

Mrs. Ozak worked as the unit secretary in the oncology and gerontology units at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester for 31 years before she retired.

She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
