Subscription Update Obituary

     Florence M. (Logan) Rossi, 95, of Worcester, passed at Blaire House of Worcester surrounded by family on Sunday September 18, 2016. Her husband Walter A. Rossi died July 4, 1990.

She leaves two sons, Michael G. Rossi and his wife Diane M. of Worcester and John K. Rossi and his wife Margaret Flannery – Rossi of Worcester; five grandchildren Timothy, Pamela, Michael, Mara and Kehlen, six great-grandchildren Angela, Ryan, Nikolai, Max, Zander and Charles and several nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and George and two sisters, Mildred Jenkins and Patricia Geremia. She was born in Providence, R.I., a daughter of Raymond and Florence (Perkins) Logan and has lived in Worcester for most of her life.

Mrs. Rossi was a machine operator in the plastics manufacturing industry many years and retired from Produx Co. in 1983. She was a member of the former St. Catherine of Sweden Church. Florence loved doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Blaire House of Worcester for the excellent care she received.

The funeral will be held on Thursday September 22, 2016 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL, 33 Ward St, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blaire House of Worcester Activities Fund, 116 Houghton St., Worcester, Ma., 01604.
