Evelyn (Robinson) Gamble, 80, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018. She leaves behind 3 sons- Will M. Gamble III of Jefferson, Richard Robinson, and Robert Gamble; 2 daughters, Cynthia L. Gamble and Joanne Chamberland-all of Worcester; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; 4 sisters- Irene, Rose, Pearl, and Annie; and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her husband, Will Moses Gamble II, a son Timothy, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Evelyn was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of George and Vernilla (Miller) Robinson. She was a member of All Saints Church. She worked for many years as a cafeteria worker for the City of Worcester School Department. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, listening to gospel music, being artistic, and donating to various charities.

Per Evelyn’s wishes, there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m on Friday May 11, 2018 . in Worcester County Memorial Park Paxton. Because of her love for and support of many various charities, donations in Evelyn’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
