Subscription Update Obituary

     Elinore M. (Cone) Manzaro, 79, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Her loving husband, Frank J. Manzaro, Sr., pre-deceased her in December 1995.

Elinore is survived by a son, Frank J. Manzaro, Jr. and his wife Donna of Dudley; two daughters, Mary T. Manzaro-Moylan and her husband John, and Ellen M. Capstick and her husband Edward, all of Worcester; ten grandchildren, Kristen, Michael Jr., Dominic, Nicole, Daniel, Johnathan, Gina, Tricia, Edward Jr., and Emily; six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son and daughter in law, Michael L. and Lori Manzaro, and by daughter, Christine Manzaro. Elinore was born in North Brookfield, and was the last surviving child of the late, Leon and Margaret (McCarthy) Cone.

Elinore and her husband Frank opened there home and their hearts as infant foster parents for many years with Catholic Charities of Worcester. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and was full of love and kindness. Some of her most joyous memories are from her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, and her trips to the family home on Cape Cod. She will be remembered for her compassion and love.

Calling Hours for Elinore will be held on Tuesday, May 31, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 1, from the funeral home, with a cortege departing at 9:30 a.m. in procession for a 10 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Interment, beside her beloved husband, will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
