Edward A Poplawski, age 64, of Sturbridge died peacefully Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his group home. Edward was born in Westfield, MA. He is the son of the late Edward and Silver (Butt) Poplawski. He is survived by one sister: Judith Brumbaugh and her husband Ron of The Villages in FL and one nephew, Christopher Butt from Apex, NC. Ed enjoyed art and crafts and his drawings, he loved music, playing his many guitars. He had an extensive ball cap collection. He enjoyed living at his family home in Webster and his time spent at Life Skills in Webster. At age 35 and a half he moved into a group home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 11 at Worcester County Memorial Park, Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA , Memorial calling hour will be held Monday April 10th at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Avenue Dudley from 6:30 to 8 PM.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LIFE SKILLS INC.
