Subscription Update Obituary

     Edna M. “Ma” (Tunstall) O’Connor, 82, of Worcester died Monday, March 20th in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. Her husband of 57 years, Cornelius D. “Okie” O’Connor died in 2015. She leaves her children, Kathy M. Eaton and her husband, Gary of Worcester, Patricia A. Urban and her husband, Jack of Putnam, CT, Timothy P. O’Connor and his fiancé, Maureen Hedge of Leicester and Kerry A. Ingram and her husband, Steve of Bradford, VT; two sisters, Virginia Dolan and Jo-Ann Tunstall both of Worcester; three granddaughters, Shawna Newman, Meaghan Eaton and Kristen Reid; nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was born in South Ashburnham the daughter of Timothy A. and Mary E. (Steffen) Tunstall. Edna worked at Worcester State College 25 years as a custodian, retiring in 1995. Her greatest accomplishment in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church – St Ann Church.
Her funeral is Saturday, March 25th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, March 24th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
