Dorothy M. (Lalone) Stone, 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in the Jewish Healthcare. She leaves 7 children- Susan Orsi, Donna M. Smith and her husband Chester Smith II, Ronna Prunier and her husband Stephen F. Prunier, Ronald K. Stone, Jr. Charles R. Stone, Steven A. Stone, and Kimberly L. Stone; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Her husband of 67 years, Ronald K. Stone, Sr., predeceased her.

Dorothy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary S. (Lindberg) Lalone. She graduated from South High School, where she was a majorette for the school band. She worked for many years as a ward clerk at Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

She was the gold of our family whose presence will be eternally missed. She was grateful everyday for the beauty in all things. She loved nature, art, animals, fashion, baseball and spending cherished moments with her family. She loved living. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, the greatest friend and roommate. She saw the good in everyone. God is lucky to have her now but our hearts will be forever broken to have lost such a treasure.
