Subscription Update Obituary

Denise M. (Rego) Gadbois, 69, died Saturday, November 13 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband of 46 years, Paul E. Gadbois, Sr. died October 27, 2021. She leaves a son Paul E. Gadbois, Jr. and his wife Katelyn of East Brookfield, two daughters; Lisa A. Keyes and her husband Leonard of Smyrna Mills, Maine and Sherry L. McWhorter and her husband Michael of North Brookfield, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Richard J. Rego and a step sister Lori Gouin.
Denise was born in Springfield, daughter of Jordan M. and Rita M. (Galipeau) Rego. She graduated from Chicopee High School. She was a certified nursing assistant at the Overlook Masonic Home for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Charlton and a former longtime member and eucharistic minister at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She was a woman of strong faith and made sure to say her prayers daily. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and doing puzzles.

The funeral for Denise and Paul will be held on Monday, Nov. 22 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, 46 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562.
