Subscription Update Obituary

     Clifford J. Blouin, 92, formerly of Holden, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

His wife of 58 years, Louise M. (Moore) Blouin, died in 2013.

Cliff leaves a grandson Philip Greene, two great-granddaughters Ashton Mohan and Lexi Roberts, all of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Cliff was also predeceased by his daughters Anne E. Blouin and Shirley Schofield, his granddaughter Shelley Bell, his three sisters Mildred Minkle, Patricia Deane and Dot Poirier, and his two brothers, Lionel J. and Wildy A. Blouin.

Cliff was born in Rumford, Maine son of Napoleon and Josephine (Dupuis) Blouin and lived in Rumford until coming to Worcester in 1954. He moved to Holden in 1964 and lived there until recently moving to Auburn.

Cliff was a self-employed painting contractor, before retiring. He was a member of St. George’s Church, Worcester.

The funeral will be held Thursday, March 23, from the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, with a Mass at Noon in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Residents Activity Fund, Life Care Center of Auburn, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, MA 01501.
