Subscription Update Obituary

Christine M. (Lamprey) Blanchard, 66, formerly of Monticello Dr. West, died peacefully in her home at The Willows Assisted Living in Worcester on Saturday, Feb. 4th.

Her husband of 39 years, Gary J. Blanchard, died in 2020. She leaves her daughters; Cassandra M. Blanchard and Melinda M. Arcadia both of Worcester, her brothers; Daniel Lamprey and his wife Marilyn and David Lamprey both of Leicester. She is predeceased by her daughter; Melissa Blanchard in 1995 and her sister Cynthia Lamprey.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Harold and Ora (Lamprey) Lamprey and later graduated from the Chamberlain College of Nursing with a BS Degree in Nursing.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish.

Christine was a Registered Nurse and worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for more than 30 years prior to her retirement.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8th. from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salmon Hospice, 37 Birch St., Milford, MA 01757.
