Subscription Update Obituary

     Barbara M. (Hurd) Talbot– 87, passed away peacefully on February 3,2015 in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.

She was born in Worcester,MA. and lived in Westboro for several years before moving to Spencer many years ago..She was a graduate of David Prouty High School. Barbara later graduated, with her daughter Sandy, from the David Hale Fanning School of Nursing in 1969. This was a very special event for Barbara and family.She worked in the health care profession all her life and worked at Memorial Hospital in Worcester for 20 years until retiring in 1980.

She leaves 3 daughters Joanne Perron & her husband Richard of Spencer, with whom she lived, Sandra Talbot & life long companion Thomas Raber of Ridgefield,WA., Luann Tucker & her husband Virgil of Oakfield,ME.;3 grandchildren Keith Ayotte,Edward Perron and Sherry Peterson; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great -great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Barbara loved getting together with family & friends and playing Bingo. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Post 12028,LZ. North County Yacolt,WA..She will be lovingly missed by all. The family is grateful for the wonderful care and love she received from the staff at Quaboag Rehab. & Skilled Care center in West Brookfield.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family. Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer is directing arrangements.
