She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leo; her daughter Cheryl (Ouellette) Lambert, her husband William and their sons, Michael & Joshua; her son Brian Ouellette, his partner Keri Mitchell and their children Megan, Jordan, and Jake.

She also leaves her brothers Joseph (Corey), Robert (Mary) and James (Sandra) Staney and her sister Kathy Bender (James); her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Plonski, Florine Ouellette, Evelyn (Thomas) Brown, Dianne Luperchio and brother-in-law, Roger (Rita) Ouellette and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was an avid reader, loved camping and later, her RV. She was a talented seamstress and an excellent cook and baker. Barbara and Leo fulfilled a long-time dream of living in Florida after they retired. They built their dream home in a Class A RV Community where they enjoyed time with fellow camping enthusiasts.
