Subscription Update Obituary

Ann Marie (Bovenzi) Danielson, 71, passed away on February 14, 2022 in Florida.

She was the wife of the late Floyd Henning Danielson who died in 2013. Floyd and Ann were reunited on Valentine’s Day which is only fitting to display the love that they shared.

Ann was born in Worcester on March 20, 1950 daughter of the late Ralph and Eleanor (Reilly) Bovenzi. She graduated from Marian High School in Worcester. Ann was a hospital secretary at Fallon Community Health Plan before retiring from Home Depot in Florida.

She enjoyed craft fairs, art shows and local theatre in Englewood. Ann was always excited to have a night out with family and friends dancing and singing. She was an avid Patriots fan but more importantly a Tom Brady fan.

Ann is survived by her daughters Debbie Sweeney, Cheryl and her husband Daniel Gavin, of Florida. She also leaves a son Gary and his wife Sonya Sweeney. She leaves her 6 grandchildren Bryce Gavin, Taryn and Meghan Stevens, Ashley and Brenna Sweeney ,1 great granddaughter, Samara Cuthbert, and many nieces and nephews.

Ann also leaves her sisters, Gail Brunelle, Linda McDonnell and a brother Bernard Bovenzi. She also leaves her beloved dog, Rocky and her best friend and roommate, Nancee Roberts. Ann is preceded by her grandson, Kyle Gavin, and her brother Paul Bovenzi.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann’s life with visiting hours on Thursday, February 24th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately at Worcester County Memorial Park. Celebration of life will be held on Friday, Feb 25th at American Legion on Vernon St at noon.
