Subscription Update Obituary

     Angelina M. (Guenette) Pelkey, 89, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28th surrounded by her loving family in Beaumont Nursing Center in Northbridge.

Angelina is predeceased by her husband, Howard A. Pelkey and a son, Howard A. Pelkey, Jr. She leaves her daughter, Dr. Rita M. Bernard and her husband, David of Florida and a son, George A. Pelkey and his wife, JoAnne of Oxford; six grandchildren, Richard, Scott, Lisa, Christopher, Dennis and David; 5 great grandchildren, Amber, Samuel, Jillian, Sophia and Addison; many nieces and nephews.

Angelina worked as supervisor for the former Frem Corporation in Worcester for 28 years, after retiring she volunteered for 17 years at the Millbury Senior Center. She enjoyed bus trips, playing bingo and most of all spending time with her family. Angelina was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church for over 38 years.

Family and friends will honor Angelina’s life by gathering for a calling hour from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. following the calling hour at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 12 Waters Street in Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090 or at www.alz.org.
