Subscription Update Obituary

Alfred A. D’Ambra, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the home of his daughter. He leaves 3 sons Alfred (Patricia), Robert (Angela), Raymond (Sherry) D’Ambra; a daughter Debra Young (Steven); 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Carolyn (Berry) D’Ambra, his second wife Joyce C. (Amidon) D’Ambra, and by several siblings.

Al was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph and Lucy (Novia) D’Ambra. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for 3 years. He worked as a money messenger for the former Brinks Company, F and H Transport Company, and for Mass Transport. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and its Good Grief Club. He was also a member of the Greendale Men’s Club, the Greendale Silver Sneakers, The Boylston Senior Center, and The Auburn Lodge of Elks 2118.

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harmony Hospice 50 Maude St. Providence, RI 02908.
