Theodore J. Janulewicz, 90, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 101 Plantation St. His wife of fifty-six years, Pauline (Dee) Janulewicz died in 2002. He is survived by his children, Linda D., wife of Terrance F. Carroll of Worcester; Theodore J. Janulewicz, Jr. of Leicester and Gail P. Janulewicz of Southbridge; a sister Mildred Miskavich; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Sophie Pelligrini and brothers, Walter, Casimir and Joseph Janulewicz. Theodore was born in Worcester a son of Jozef and Bronislawa (Grochowski) Janulewicz. Mr. Janulewicz was a United States Postal Clerk retiring in 1986. He served in the US Navy during World War II, as a Signalman 2nd Class on merchant ships in the North Atlantic. He was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church. He also was a member of the Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, with a service at 11:30 AM in Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday , October 7 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. |
