Colin F. “Scott” Campbell, 76, of Spencer, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Doris L. (Myra) Campbell; two sons, Colin R. Campbell and his wife Luana of Holland and Mark B. Campbell and his wife Stephanie of Spencer; a daughter, Wendy P. Kokernak, and her husband David of Webster; eight grandchildren, Terrence, Christopher, Elizabeth M., Crystal, Colin, Dylan, Elizabeth A. and Kolby; and two great-grandchildren, Aryiana and Julianna.
The son of Colin A. and Rose (Branniff) Campbell, he was born in Worcester.
Mr. Campbell was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a foreman/machinist for Worcester Valve Co., retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Worcester County Model A Club and the Central Massachusetts Amateur Radio Association.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Dec. 10, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with a memorial service at 10:30 a.m., both at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Ave., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
