Edmond R. Rochette, 70, of Grove Street, Paxton, died in his home after a long illness. His wife of 45 years, Bernardeen O. (Smith) Rochette, died May 21. He leaves a son, Michael J. Rochette of Berlin; two daughters, Melanie A. Rochette of Rutland and Penelope S. Gambino of Boylston. Also he leaves a brother, Armand Rochette of Worcester, four sisters, Anna White of Milford, Conn., Violet Lajoie of Leicester, Alice Goodwin of West Brookfield, and Irene Perro of Worcester, five grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Rosario E. and Melanie (Frappier) Rochette and lived here for 43 years. He Graduated from Commerce High School and received dental training in the Army. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a staff sergeant with the Army Medical Corps in Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Rochette was a certified dental technician who owned and operated E.R. Rochette Laboratory Inc. in Worcester for 50 years. |
