Corinne A. (Lovely) Gay, 88, of 383 Mill St., formerly of 1 Lake Ave., and Clinton, died Thursday in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband, Henry R. Gay, died in 1961. She leaves four daughters, Shirley J. Mayberry of Flint, Mich., Madelyn J. Vanasse of Clinton, Marcia A. Tolman of Leicester and Carol D. McKinstry of Sterling; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of John J. and Delina (Denno) Lovely and lived here most of her life. She graduated from South High School. Mrs. Gay was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Leicester.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
