JEAN HOWELL

Jean E. Howell, 70, of Ruthven Ave., Worcester, died Wednesday ay home.  Her husband William E. Howell died in 1983.

She leaves two sons, Gary E. Howell, Worcester, Alton T. Fleming, of Northford Ct., one brother , Gilbert Patterson, North Grafton, Ma. ,one sister, Barbara Davis, Rockfield, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, one nephew, one niece.

Mrs. Howell was born in Bellows Falls, Vt,, daughter of John C. and Rachel A. (Houghton) Patterson, and had lived in Worcester for 52 years.  She was a member of Greendale People’s Church.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Friday at  Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Ma.  Rev. Ralph E. Marsden officiating.  There are no calling hours.  Caswell-King Funeral Home 474 Grove St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
