IRENE BURKE (CONNORS)

     Irene M. (Connors) Burke, 72, of 32 Crestview Drive died Thursday night in the University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.

Her Husband, William S. Burke, died in 1984. She leaves two sisters, Bertha Haskins and Ruth Keith; two half-brothers, Ernest H. Clark and John Connors, all of Holden and a half-sister, Nora Josephson of Auburn. She was born in Holden, daughter of John H. And Bertha A. (Miller) Connors and lived here many years. She then lived 17 years in Centerville, Ohio, before returning to Holden in 1982.

She was a packer at Astra Pharmaceutical Products Inc. in Westboro for several years before she retired.

Mrs. Burke was a member of the First Baptist Church, its Women’s Fellowship, and Doer’s Circle. She was a former church deacon.
