SANDRA FERNSTEN

Sandra E. (Soucy) Fernsten, 43 of 55 Goodale St. formerly of Bellingham and Worcester, died Wednesday in the University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after a long illness.

She leaves her husband, Martin R. Fernsten; a son, Jason R. Fernsten of West Boylston; a daughter, Michelle A. Erickson of Holden; a brother, Roland C. Soucy, Jr. of Salisbury; three sisters, Paulette D. Soucy and Linda J. Bass, both of Worcester and Constance F. Allen of Holden; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. Another son, Martin R. Fernsten Jr. died in 1970. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Roland C. and Constance D. (Ramsey) Soucy.

She was a dietary aide for five years at the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts – Hahnemann, Worcester.

Sandra was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and a former member of the Jack and Jill Bowling League at Brunswick Lincoln Lanes in Worcester.

The Funeral will be held tomorrow from Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be private. Calling hours at teh funeralhome are 7 to 9 tonight. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Contributions may be made instead to the Memorial Fund of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston
