   Edward G. Rivard, 67, of 13 Fairmont St., Woburn, formerly of Leominster, died Tuesday in the Chelsea Soldiers Home, Chelsea.
   His wife, Eula Jo (Mercer) Rivard, died in 1979.
   He leaves four sons, Douglas and Gregory Rivard, both of Worcester, Wayne Rivard of East Boston, and Stephen Rivard of Woburn; a sister, Alphema Kacprizicki of Leominster; and four grandchildren.
   Born in Leominster, he was a son of George and Elizabeth Rivard, and had lived most of his life in Leominster before moving to Woburn several years ago.
Mr. Rivard was a carpenter for Granger Construction Co in Worcester, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 107. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
   Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. today in the Paul Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere. Burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
