Dot, thats what everyone called my mom. She lived a difficult life of childbearing (12 kids!!!) and poverty. How she managed to make us all happy and blissfully unaware of how disadvantaged we were is a testament to a woman who loved life no matter what it threw at her. She was a rock for the family and I absolutely miss her everyday.
