Herbert S. Jenney, 72, of 75 Catherine Terrace died Friday in Worcester Memorial Hospital. He was a machine operator for 23 years at Fabric Leather Co., retiring in 1984. Mr. Jenney was a member of St. John’s Church. He leaves his wife, Florence M. (Burbo) Jenney; a stepdaughter, Mary F. Perron of Worcester; his mother, Ella (Ringer) Jenney of Newbury, Vt.; a brother, Kenneth Jenney of New York City; a sister, Katherine Audette of Waterbury, Conn.; and two step-granddaughters. He was born in Vergennes, Vt., son of Steve Jenney, and lived here most of his life. The funeral will be held Tuesday from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St., Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
