Faye Clouthier, a woman of profound faith and enduring spirit, passed away

on June 6, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on July 20, 1947, in Lewiston, Maine,

Faye’s life was a testament to resilience, integrity, and a lifelong search for

spiritual truth.

Faye was the daughter of Raymond Gordon Davis of Auburn, Maine, and Marie

May Clair Dechine Davis of Grand Isle, Maine. Though her early years were

marked by significant challenges following the loss of her father to brain

cancer she remained anchored by her love for her mother, Marie. A poignant

highlight of her youth was learning Braille at a young age, a skill that allowed

her to maintain a deep, communicative bond with her mother throughout their

lives.

An intellectually gifted individual, Faye excelled in her studies, with early

passions for music, medicine, and theology. She attended college briefly

before transitioning into the nursing field, where she attended the Diamond

Vocational School in Fall River, Massachusetts, and dedicated herself to the

care of others. Though her professional career was cut short by the onset of

blindness in the 1970s, she approached this new chapter with the same

strength that defined her entire life.

In the mid-1970s, Faye settled in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was there that

she found the spiritual path that would define her remaining years. Following

her baptism in 1978, she became a tireless servant, participating in door-to-

door ministry for many years. With her faith as her cornerstone, she remained

steadfast in her convictions even when facing challenging medical

circumstances.

Faye is survived by her devoted husband, Harry Clouthier. Their life together

was one of shared growth and mutual support, particularly after Harry’s own

baptism in 1998, which brought them even closer in their spiritual journey.

Faye will be remembered by her family and her many friends in the

congregation for her quick wit, her unwavering strength in the face of

adversity, and the deep love she held for her Creator and her brothers and

sisters in the truth.

A committal will be on Wednesday June 17th, 2026, leaving Graham, Putnam &

Mahoney Funeral Parlors 838 Main St Worcester, Ma 01610 at 9:30am. Her final resting

place will be at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, Ma.
