ELMER C PARMENTER

Elmer C. Parmenter, 80, passed away peacefully at home with his daughter Barbara and her husband Frankie by his side, on Friday, February 20. Elmer is survived by his children; Derek I. Parmenter and his wife Madrika of Las Vegas, NV and Barbara J. Negron and her husband Frankie of Leominster, his grandchildren; Wayne Brooks, Jr. and his wife Tira and Christina Salafia and her husband Timothy, great grandkids; Jaslyn and Waylon. His sisters; Eleanor M. Johnson and Jenny Grasley and his brother Charles predeceased him.

Elmer was born and raised in Worcester, the son of the late Charles A. and Phebe M. (Chaffee) Parmenter. Elmer worked many years as a hydraulics engineer with Westboro State Hospital until his retirement in 2007. His hobbies included; fishing, woodworking and listening to country music, playing the guitar and piano.

All are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 27th. from 10-11am in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester, with a funeral service at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
