Raymond “Ray” E. LeBlanc, 95, of Shrewsbury, MA, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. A dedicated family man and 2nd generation to a well-known local family store, Lake Shore Market in Shrewsbury. Alongside his wife, Sarah, and daughters, Donna and Judy, he turned the market into a local staple. Ray was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Sarah (McElroy) LeBlanc; his son, Gary (Henry) LeBlanc; his parents, Joseph and Rose LeBlanc; and his sisters, Beatrice Pruneau, Alice Curtis, and Irene Flint. He is survived by his 5 children: Donna Garabedian (Ed), Christine Werme (Ron), Joseph LeBlanc (Christine), Judy LeBlanc and Glenn LeBlanc (Lisa). His 16 Grandchildren: Kelly Boland (Mike), Russ Werme, Gary Lee LeBlanc; Ed, Ray and Scott Garabedian (Erica); Wendy, Peter, Matt, Joe LeBlanc (Alysa) and Alicia Pelletier (Scott); Benjamin and Tim Sebastian, James Bynum (Emily); Courtney and Jared LeBlanc. 16 Great-Grandchildren: Molly, Emma, Myles, Liam, Gavin, Skylar, Colton, Ethen, Luke, Olivia, Lorelai, Quinn, Evan, Amy, Spencer and Gracelynn. He further leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephew and his in-laws, Mable Austin and Charles McElroy. Ray was an avid boater who enjoyed sharing many adventures with family and friends. If you knew Ray, you knew his boat “Come Spring” was always filled with laughter and adventures. In his retirement he and Sarah enjoyed winters in Florida and many cruises. He will be remembered as a kind, wonderful family man whose great love for those around him will never be forgotten.
